For sixty years, Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS) has been a steady presence for individuals and families navigating some of life’s most difficult moments. When housing is at risk, when family safety is on the line, or when stability depends on access to skilled legal advocacy, NLS ensures that the law remains a source of protection — not a barrier.

On October 6th, 2026, NLS will mark its 60th Anniversary with a community celebration recognizing this legacy of service and recommitting to the work ahead. This milestone event will bring together members of the legal community, corporate partners, civic leaders, and longtime supporters who share a belief that justice should be accessible to all.

LEGACY OF JUSTICE AWARD
Presented to The Honorable Maureen P. Kelly, Magistrate Judge. U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania, an individual whose career has advanced equal justice, strengthened the legal profession, and inspired future generations to serve the public.

60th ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE
A special tribute to Robert V. Racunas, Esq. for a lifetime of leadership advancing equal justice presented in grateful recognition of four decades of visionary leadership as Executive Director of Neighborhood Legal Services.
