NLS Expands Capacity to Help Access SSI or SSDI Benefits

NLS provides free legal advice and representation to eligible individuals when their SSI (Supplemental Security Benefits) or SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits) are wrongfully denied or terminated.

NLS was recently awarded the Disability Advocacy Project (DAP) Innovation Grant, which will help the organization expand legal assistance and representation to children and young adults with disabilities.

Social Media Helps Spread the Message about Benefits for Children and Youth

A new social media campaign is helping NLS spread the word about its increased capacity to help children and youth with their benefits through the Disability Advocacy Project in Butler, Lawrence, Beaver and Allegheny counties. Click here to view sample posts and please share.

 

DAP Volunteers Needed– Minimal Time Commitment, Free Training

NLS is looking for volunteer lawyers and paralegals to assist the Disability Advocacy Project. If you are an attorney looking for more client contact or have a minimal amount of time available, you could make a big difference.
